SIIM/RSNA Joint Program on Practical Informatics for the Imaging Physician

For the fourth year, SIIM is partnering with RSNA to present “Practical Informatics for the Practicing Radiologist” at the RSNA Annual Meeting.  The two-part course takes place on Monday, November 30, from 8:45 am – 12:00 pm.

This course is an extension of the Practical Informatics for the Imaging Physician Bootcamp, which was presented at the SIIM 2009 Annual Meeting in Charlotte, NC. The SIIM 2009 Imaging Physician Bootcamp Web Seminar is NOW AVAILABLE! The bootcamp has been designed with two goals in mind. First, to provide a solid foundation in imaging informatics to all physicians, regardless of their subspecialty. Second, to provide increasingly busy physicians with a self-paced learning program that can be accessed 24/7 to meet the ever-increasing time constraints that physicians face on a daily basis.

RSNA offers a variety of informatics refresher courses in conjunction with SIIM, including communicating results, advanced visualization, enterprise imaging, and image management of new acquisition modalities.  Visit http://rsna2009.rsna.org/ for details and to register for courses.
